Interests: Hanging out with my family. Books, book stores, libraries, movies about books, my Kindle. I am a complete NERD. Back in the day I loved playing tennis and pretending to be a musician behind a guitar, piano or drums.

Hometown: I grew up in Lewisport, KY, near Owensboro. I graduated from Hancock County High School way back in 1995.

Extended family: I have one brother, Chris, who has four sons: Dalten, Landen, Camden, and Jacen. My dad is named Danny and his wife is Denise.

Ministry experience:  I am currently serving as interim pastor of Clarkson Baptist Church in Clarkson, KY.  Over the past few years, I served as transitional pastor of Youngers Creek Baptist in Elizabethtown, FBC Monticello, Hurstbourne Baptist in Louisville, Lancaster Baptist Church, Bethany Baptist Church in Louisville and Parkway Baptist Church in Bardstown.

Before that I served for five years as the associate pastor of Main Street Church in Alexandria, KY. I also served as a youth minister in Fort Worth, TX in two different churches (Trinity BC and First Baptist Millsap, TX) and also as a Hispanic Youth Outreach director (The Cornerstone Community Center).

People who inspire me:  Dr. Ted Taylor (Professor at CU), Robert Franklin (my former pastor) and most of all, my wife Jennifer. She is just top-notch.
